Area Cleaning

Troop:
After thorough area cleaning today, me and the fellow year 3 have found a few items that were left behind on the grandstand despite instructions to do area cleaning. The items found are namely-- 2 mess tins, One fork, One green Tote Bag, One roll of Comms Cord, One aluminium foil and One Red coloured water bottle. The owners of these items, the items are now behind the grandstand safely, but if still unclaimed by next Thursday, they will be thrown away, so please come to claim it quickly.
I would like to take this chance, too, to remind you guys to have a sense of discipline and consideration for other people. Nobody stepped up to ask for a time extension when instructions for a 3 minute area cleaning was given, although the timing was clearly not enough, given the number of lost and found items. Also, many people were caught slacking too when most others were trying to search for items on the grass patches or on the grandstand. The items that were found by Sir during the inspection afterwards too signifies how un-thorough the clean up was as there was still trash found on areas that even we think we didnt use, but in the actual fact, it was caused by the wind. Remember the quote "a Scout leaves a place cleaner than before"? It also means that we should be responsible for the whole area that we use, even if the rubbish left behind is not ours.
Finally, I'll just like to remind the troop again to take good care of your individual personal items, regardless if its wanted or not. For example, Bottles of condiments like Sweet Sauce and Soy Sauce and even packets of rice were found behind, and they were unopened too, so next time please dispose of them properly or just take them home if they are new. I hope that in future cooking sessions we would not have to help keep or help to take care of so many personal belongings already, so please take good care of them next time. Thanks.

27th Mar CCA Schedule

There will be a collection of job week cards tomorrow during CCA.

Do count all your job week money and make sure it tallies with the amount on your card. 

Change all coins to notes and please change into big notes to make the collection easier for the teachers. 

Please take extra care of your money while in school as they are quite a big amount.

For those involved in IMC, please fall in at 1615sharp. Pass your job week card and money to your patrolmates beforehand.

24th Mar CCA Schedule

The following is the schedule for tomorrow's CCA. You need not bring your job week card and money yet as they will be collected at a later date.

18-19th March 2D1N Pulau Ubin Camp

Hi Scouts,

Please go to the following link for all the information on the March camp: http://tinyurl.com/2015marchcamp 

• Read all documents found in the link
• Take note of the bag inspection layout
• Pack according to the bag inspection layout

More importantly, fall in by 6.55am at the grandstand in your CCA tee and PE shorts. Other things to note: each scout is supposed to collect 1 NTUC sized bag full of firewood (either 1st or 2nd degree --- either coconut husk or thin twigs).

10th Mar CCA Schedule

Hi Scouts,

(Take note of changes in red)
Tomorrow, we will be heading to Anglican High for Softball match support, so please fill up the following google form if you have not done so: http://tinyurl.com/2015matchsupport. You will also be required to be in your PE shirt and PE shorts.You will be excused from lessons at 1.30pm but you will need to gather at the foyer by 1.40pm. You may leave your bags in school but please lock up/bring along your valuables. As for lunch, you can buy some sandwiches and have them on the bus but please be mindful to not dirty the bus. After returning to school, CCA will still resume so please follow the plan as shown below and go to the respective venues.

The following image is the schedule for CCA tomorrow. Please remember to bring your signed consent form for job week and March camp tomorrow. Year 1s going to army market to purchase equipment tomorrow, please bring $70 to $80 (Please be extra careful to not lose your money).

Mar Holiday CCA Activities

Hi Scouts,

Today, a consent form was handed out to each of you. Please get your parents to sign by, if possible, this Friday's CCA or for the Year 1's case, by next Tuesday. For those who lost your form or did not receive it today for whatever reason, please download the consent form, print it out and get your parents to sign it.

Please be reminded that those who have yet to submit jamboree form or the photos in scout uniform with beret to submit by tomorrow before CCA to your PLs. Failure to do so will result in immediate withdrawal of application. Thank you.
