30th Jan CCA Schedule

Hi Scouts,

Since there's outdoor cooking for CCA tomorrow, you are supposed to already have collected sufficient firewood and bought the required ingredients. Do remember to bring the condiments as well as shaved skewer sticks (if any). Please look for Jing Kang or other Y4 scouts tomorrow at the grandstand from 7am-7.15am to keep the raw food in the icebox. We will not help to store any more food items if you exceed the time given above so please be punctual. Before storing the food items in the icebox, please pack all the food items together in a plastic bag and label clearly the patrol number. If possible, each patrol should only have at most 1 bag of food items to be stored. Another advice is that each patrol should have at least 1 groundsheet to place the food during the actual cooking. That will be all about the outdoor cooking tomorrow, so please be prepared :)

Thank you.

Hi all,

For the 100th post, on behalf of the PLCs, I would like to inform you guys that the uniform standards, emailing format, rules, etc. have been posted and you all can gain access by clicking on the respective headings under PAGES which can be found on the right side of the blog under the chatbox. As we have listed out our expectations for you, we hope that none of you will break any of the rules and it is assumed that you have read and understood them. Therefore, we do not wish to hear from any one of you that we are unclear in stating our expectations and from now on, so long as you do not meet our expectations, there will no longer be any warnings but punishments will given directly instead.

To conclude, all of you need to buck up on your discipline and brace yourself for the change in 2015. Thank you.

Hi all,

As some of you would have known, there will be a UG Exhibition for Year 1 this Friday 9th January. The Year 1 will be entering the canteen for the exhibition starting from 3pm and as all the lessons for all levels end only at 2.55pm, only a few scouts will be allowed to be dismissed earlier. The scouts who will be dismissed earlier are as follows:

As for the rest of the PLC members, Y2 and Y3, you will be required to fall in at red bricks area in half scout uniform at 3.15pm. Three items will also not be required. Other commitee ICs such as Charmaine, Qian Hui, Yi Leo, Jia Chen and Jaslyn (Y3), please report punctually.

NOTE: Half scout uniform includes the CCA Tee, culottes/pants, belt, scout socks and full black shoes. Inappropriate attire will not be tolerated.

On behalf of the PLC, I would like to apologise for the last minute information that you all will have to help out because there was a sudden manpower shortage. We hope to seek your kind understanding and cooperate with us so that we can make this a successful event :D Wishing you all the best for the rest of 2015!

2015 CCA Announcements

Hello Scouts,

I hope everyone had a great December holidays and New Year. For 2015, official CCA will only start in Term 1 Week 2, on 13th Jan. Since all levels are released at 3pm, fall in time has been changed to 3.15pm. However, there will be groups of people who are required to come back for CCA in preparation for the Y1 CCA showcase. The names will be released at a later date. The CCA showcase is on 9th and 13th Jan, so please do support your seniors if you happen to see them. When CCA officially starts, it would be preparation for founder's day parade in February so please do buck up on your drill standards and uniform.
See you guys soon and all the best for the new year! :)

-Sandy (On behalf of your PLC)

P.S. Take note of the change of date and fall in time
